Non Altec related, I want to coat paper rolled surrounds of a bunch of old drivers I have stored to protect them against cracking when finally firing them up.

The 421s were just fine after some time in the sun the other day.

Good to know, thanks! Don't want a thick dope or I'd just use pure silicone. I take it then that thinning latex surround dope with Flotex to mimic the Moyen is a bad plan?

TIA,
